Kaila Bryant, a native of Dewitt, Michigan, trained at the Miami City Ballet School before attending Indiana University. While attending IU, she performed soloist roles in ballets by George Balanchine, Martha Graham, and Violette Verdy. After graduation, Feldpausch joined Saint Louis Ballet, where she originated works by Tom Gold, Kevin Jenkins and Brian Enos. She has since been a principal guest artist with Albany Berkshire Ballet, touring in The Nutcracker and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and has performed with Tom Gold Dance in New York City. Feldpausch was a guest artist with Smuin Contemporary Ballet for the 2019/20 season. This is Kaila's third season with Avant Chamber Ballet.
